You know I cannot believe all the stuff that is going on in the world, and half of it we don't even know about it. A lot of my friends (yes I have friends, even though I don't get any bloggers to my site besides my Mom & Sister), anyway my friends say they don't watch the news because it is to depressing. Well, I have to tell you, what you don't know could KILL you. I don't know how people don't stay current with the news. If you have kids, it is very important that you watch the news. On 20/20 last night, they were teaching kids how to escape a gunman in their school. Yes, it is sad that they have to drill kids about this, but wouldn't you rather know how to be prepared, then to not have a clue??? I don't forsee the world becoming a better place, but I would like to know how to survive in it.
I didn't even know that pirates still existed, did you? In case you didn't hear the story, a small boat full of pirates tried to take over a luxury cruise ship. They were shooting at it and had hand rocket launchers they were using. Talk about scary. Pirates, who would have thought????

Isn't it scarey these days? Kids have a hard enough time trying to stay focused on their lessons now they get this kind of lesson on how to escape from violence.
Remember when we only practices for fire drills? What has happened to us. Keep on trying to take God out of our money and our pledge and what ever else they can think of and things will get worse and worse. Imagine a nativity scene being a threat to some people because they want to display this humble existance on our business lawns. But Santa and blow up dolls are ok. Even pirates are coming back wow. What to do? Pray, pray, pray.
