Joining A Community Center

My neighborhood has a really awesome Community Center. Last night I decided to join. It is expensive ($200 for just me for one year), but I think it is cheaper than joining a health club. I know that my parents joined the Community Center in their neighborhood too. If I goto their Center it would cost me $10, even though we live in the same county. The Centers are city specific, and if you don't live in the city, it will cost you to visit their facility. My girlfriend is thinking of joining with me and she doesn't live in my city. Her cost to join is almost double mine. We are trying to be creative. It is no fun going to the center by yourself. For the sake of cheapness, I told her to change her address to mine! She is a true friend! To spend the extra to come with me so I don't have to do this alone! Thank you Bec, I love Ya!!!!!!

This Community Center is really cool! It has 1 large lap pool (Olympic size) with a 5.5 foot "deep end" for treading water, a floating pool with a current, a kiddie pool with buckets of water that fall when you pull the stings and little fountains they can run through, and a pool for the giant indoor slide. They have a sauna (dry heat) and a "wet heat" sauna, fitness center with all the equipment you could need, a cafe, 3 volleyball courts, outdoor track, outdoor roller blade/hockey area, indoor basketball court, billiards, and an attached library.

This should be fun and I look forward to getting started! I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year!
