Guinness The Basset Hound
What to do about Guinness. He is the cutest Basset Hound ever, but he has been barking so much I want to give him away (well, not really, but I'm close). We have new "White trash" neighbors and they tease him, so he barks. At night I think they keep a cat in the garage, and my dog goes to the back of the fence and just barks. HELP! What do I do to keep him from barking? I thought about a "Shock Collar" but I somehow find that cruel, so I bought a muzel last night. The muzel was to small so I need to get to the store and get a larger one. I think that is mean too, but I have to do something. He does not listen when you call him and he just barks non stop. Any suggestions???????????

let him out the front on a short leash attached to your porch rail and as soon as he goes let him in that way your cleaning up his droppings right away. Just a suggestion or put a bag over his head when he goes out or blindfolds or or or never mind just kidding
Thanks Guys! Yeah I don't know what to do. I feel bad that he can't run and play in his own backyard, even to do "his business."
I once met a guy who filled a spray bottle with lemon juice. When the dog would bark, he sprayed it right into the dogs mouth. It took only a couple of times for the dog to learn not to bark.
