Well, thats it for the Wings! I don't know what happened to them, but they just could not stop the Oilers. The game certainly looked promising after 2 periods for the Wings, but then everything just fell apart. I believe Steve Yzerman played his last game as a Red Wing. I do think that he is retiring! That is what really makes me sad. What an outstanding guy he is! He will be so missed here in Hockeytown! Lets hope that he plays one more year!
Thank you Detroit Red Wings for a great regular season! We are pissed you are out in the first round, but we still love you!

Yeah, I really thought they would win this one but alas, I guess it wasn't to be.
I thought they were winning too! I am so bummed out. :(
