During a 4th grade class, a teacher was trying to teach good manners. She asks the students if they were on a date, how would they excuse themselves if they need to use the restroom?
Michael raised his hand and said "just a minute I have to pee."
"That would be rude and impolite Michael," the teacher replied.
"Teacher, I would say that I'm sorry but I really need to use the bathroom" Peter said.
"That's better," the teacher replied, "but the word bathroom should not be used at the dinner table."
Johnny raised his hand and said, "I would say......My darling, may I please be excused for a moment? I have to go shake hands with a very dear friend of mine, whom I hope you'll get to meet after supper."
The teacher fainted.
Kids know a lot more than we give them credit for!
