Today is scrap day! Well, tonight is scrap night! I love scrap nights! Lately I have been pulling away from scrapping. Things are just not fun right now in my life and don't feel like scrapping. However when Nelly told me she was bringing princess tonight to scrap, I perked up right away! I love seeing little ones scrap. She gets so much excitement from stamping and cutting things and glueing them to paper. She even has her own little book to work in. I remember being that excited about scrapping, but with no money to buy new things, it seems to have taken the excitement out of it. There was lots of pleasure in going to a scrap store and buying even one thing. I used to go every Friday with my bestest girlfriend, EVERY FRIDAY!!! We had so much fun. We have not done that in at least 2 years (if not longer than that). I have not been taking pictures recently because of my life right now, so I am working on other projects. It is just not the same anymore. I have to find that motivation again. I have to say Princess brought some motivation to me today. It reminds me of how fun scrapping really is, and honestly I really am happy and grateful that I have what I have. I'm pretty lucky. I am even luckier to have such wonderful friends and family that enjoy this with me. I just have to find ways to motivate myself. I used to look forward to scrapping (almost as much as if going away on vacation). I need to find that again. Nelly, thanks for planning on coming over tonight and bringing princess! It will be a fun night! Good food (Big Boy), good friends (Laura, Michelle, Michele, Amanda, Nelly, and Princess), and good times (all the laughing we will do tonight)!

Well, I'm glad my kids bring so much happiness to you! Kids have a way of doing that. I guess all the crabbing I do when the kids get on my nerves, is really worth it in the end. They bring so much joy to everyone's lives, including hub and I that I can't imagine life without them. I can't believe I don't have more gray hair than I do because of them. As I type this, princess and son are running around with cars and screaming, oh and wouldn't ya know it, princess is crying now. Story of my life! See you tonight! Love ya sis!

This is such a sweet post, Tracy. It ells us what a big heart you have and how much you love your niece and nephew.....tell Nelly, that the gray hairs come with the 'shit-head, teenage years' and they'll be here before she knows it!

Things in your life are due for a change for the better....hopefully sooner rather than later!

Hugs!
