Another Cold Sunday

I scrapped last night, and all of us were really tired. I don't know what the problem was, but everyone was out of the house by 12:00 am. We never quit that early. I worked on the cookbook that I am doing for my Mom, both my sisters, and myself. It is the cutest little cookbook. I have put all of our favorite recipes in it, with a little scrapping twist. I think it is turning out really good. It is broken down into sections (ie; breakfast, appetizers, salads, etc..). I am only in the appetizer section. This is gonna be a thick recipe book by the time I am done. The best part is I am using a 6 x 6 book and all the pages are removable and they will all be laminated. This way you can take the page out (slides out) and not worry about getting your whole book messy. If you spill on the page, thats okay it is laminated and can be wiped off very easily. This has been my winter project, but lately I have not been in the scrapping mood, so I am way behind schedule. I was hoping to have it done for Mother's Day. HA HA not a chance. Maybe Mother's Day 2008!

Stay warm on this cold Sunday, and thanks for checking in!

What a great idea. I know everyone who receives one will be thrilled and honored that you made it for them. My daughter, Naive does sweet things like that for me frequently and I do appreciate it so...it usually makes me cry to know that she loves me so much! Silly ole' woman, huh? LOL

What a fab idea! I like to do some little handmade project every year for the special people in my life. Maybe I'll start a few recipe books myself and hopefully be done by the holidays.
How long have you been working on this project?
